This event is put on by the Dragon Flies Dragon Boat Racing Team, a group of breast cancer survivors whose aim is to raise awareness about the illness. Held at Palmer Park, hundreds of spectators come to see the races, which include divisions such as Youth Crew, Mixed Crew, All Women Crew and Breast Cancer Survivor Crew.

Dog Day of Scugog

This annual event allows dog owners to show off their pets in a number of events including a dog fashion show, a parade of breeds and the SuperDog Idol contest. Various vendors are on hand with gift ideas for pets, and there is a performance by the SuperDogs.
