    Fairy Lake
    Fairy lake is man-made and was created by a Conservation Authority dam on the Holland River. Located in downtown Newmarket within the Wesley Brooks Memorial Conservation Area, the lake is a popular recreation spot among locals and a variety of activities and events take place here throughout the year.

    East Holland River
    The East Holland River runs north from the Town of Newmarket, joins with the West Holland River and eventually its waters empty into Lake Simcoe. Often referred to as simply the Holland, a damn on the river in Newmarket helps maintain the man-made Fairly Lake, which is a popular local recreation spot.

    Lake Ontario is the eastern most of the Great Lakes and the smallest in surface area, measuring 311 km (193 m) from east to west and 85 km (53 m) across. The lake serves as a national border with the province of Ontario on its northern and southwestern shores and the state of New York on its southeastern banks.

    Ajax Waterfront Park
    The Ajax Lake Ontario Waterfront is the longest stretch of undeveloped waterfront in the Toronto area. Peaceful natural and maintained areas are publicly accessible via a network of walking and cycling trails. Access is by Lakeway Driveway West.
